Altered Item

Всем большой привет!

Наверное, это мой блокнотик такой везучий получился, девочки из Штампомании пригласили "подизайнить". Задание - проволока и много бисера, альтеред объект. Не долго думая, решила преобразить старенькую рамочку темно-зеленого цвета. Кроме того, захотелось сделать что-нибудь полезное в дом. Получилась вешалка для ключей.

Seems  like my notepad was lucky! Girls from Stampomania have invited me to create an altered item for their challenge - use wire and plenty of beads. I decided to decorate very old frame which was painted dark green colour. Finally for the first time ever I have managed to make something useful :) This is a key holder (if I said it right)

Frame and the lock were painted with antic white varnish. Beads are fixed with the red paint and PVA glue. The heart is found in a charity shop.

Рамка и замочек покрашены краской антик белый, бисер приклеен на красную краску и ПВА. Сердечко - случайная находка из секонд-хэнд'a.

Altered Box. Коробка в Стиле Шебби.

I hope you are all having a good time. Glad that you visit me here!
As for today I prepared something quite unusual for me.
For the first time I decided to give a try to altered items.
The box that I transformed into Shabby Chic case for the notepad was specially created for the Assorti blog. Current Challenge is Altered Item. Oh, and be careful - photo heavy post :)

На Ассорти новое задание - создать любой объект в стиле альтер скрап. Специально для Ассорти, в качестве напросившегося приглашенного дизайнера, я решила видоизменить коробку.
Коробка станет футляром для моего очередного блокнота, полюбились они мне в последнее время :) Да, осторожно! Много фоток - процесс был длительным :)

Вот как это было. До:

Here I just cut off unnecessary  details, so to make a box with the lid.
Отрезала лишнее, чтобы получилась коробочка с крышкой, наподобие шкатулки.

Начальный этап процесса.

Использовала много белой грунтови, акриловой краски, чая.

I used plenty of white primer, acrylic paint and tea to colour laces and other details. 

Вот такой мой первый эксперимент. Да, чтобы коробочка в процессе не разъехалась, укрепила по периметру маскировочной лентой. Поучаствовать хотела бы в заданиях:

To keep the shape of the box I used masking tape. Fixed it around the box.  I would like to enter following challenges with this item:
