Delicate Beige

Good morning everybody!

I am here today to share with you two cards. Both are very delicate in subtle neutral tones.

I am so excited about spare time that I am happy to have at the moment, so simply can't leave my craft room :) Like a child :) Hope you get some inspiration form my tiny creations :)

Я, по всей видимости, немного прибалдела от (наконец-то) появившегося свободного времени, что не вылезаю из своей комнатки с бумажками (и пр. скрап-богачеством).

Результатом моего ночного бдения стали две открыточки, в нежно-нейтральных тонах (как ночной мотылек).

Background - grey craft paper, gesso, modelling paste. I dried the paste for a couple of minutes with cool hair-drier and then stamped some text on it. 

Фон - серая бумага, грунтовка, модельная паста, которую подсушила феном для волос ( на холодном режиме), затем сделала оттиск штампом с текстом и небольшим количеством чернил.

Цветочки скрутила из х/б ткани окрашенной чаем и щедро усыпанной пудрой с матовым блеском.

Flowers - cotton fabric dyed in strong tea and then powdered with matt shimmer chalk.

Metal embellishments are detail of some earrings.

Металлические украшения (кроме подвески в правом углу) - детали бижутерии. Их получилось немало - листочки, муха (отчаянно сверкающая на нежном фоне). Подвеска в данном случае - альтернатива надписи.

Self-made flower, covered with white acrylic paint.

Цветок покрыт акриловой краской.

Фатин, свободно лежит, прошила только по краям.

Tulle is stitch at the top and bottom only.

IWD - International Women's Day! Просто 8 Марта!

Hello Everybody!
A little bit of History if you do not mind:

International Women's Day (IWD), originally called International Working Women’s Day is marked on the 8th of March every year.  It is a major day of global celebration of women. In different regions the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women's economic, political and social achievements.
Started as a Socialist political event, the holiday blended in the culture of many countries, primarily Eastern Europe, Russia, and the former Soviet bloc. In many regions, the day lost its political flavour, and became simply an occasion for men to express their love for women in a way somewhat similar to a mixture of Mother's Day and St Valentine's Day. It might be too early to talk about this "International" Women's Day, but happened that today I sent the card to my Mom. Hopefully, she will get it on time and like it.

Я думаю нет нужды пояснять женщинам (и мужчинам) родившимся на территории постсоветского пространства, что такое 8 Марта. Нам просто нравится этот день! И хотя сегодня 23 Февраля (Дорогие наши защитники отечества - С Праздником! Ура!) и еще слишком рано вспоминать о Женском Дне, так сложилось, что я отправила вот такую открыточку своей маме. Надеюсь, она дойдет вовремя.

This Duck egg colour is one of her favorite. To make flowers and to cover music note sheet, I used scarf, especially bought for this card! Fly and leaves were earrnigs some day :)

Этот цвет ей очень нравится :) Ну, а чтобы сделать цветочки и закрыть ноты, я порезала шарфик, специально для этого приобретенный. Муха и листочки были когда-то сережками.

Also, I decided to take part in Cute Card Thursday Challenge with this card. The сhallenge was to create Happy Shiny Card. Well it is shiny! Look at the fly :)
