I think it's a very Good Wednesday, well, at least for me.
I got absolutely brilliant news today - I made top 5 here, blog Assorti, with my Big Tree Card!!!

Начну с хвастовства. Моя открытка Дерево попала в пятерку лучших на блоге Ассорти! Я ужас как рада! Спасибо!

Also, my notepad "What does you name mean?" was mentioned here - I made top 3 with it! I am delighted! 

Также, мой блокнот попал в тройку лучших на Мелодиях скрапа. Более, чем приятно - ведь это мой первый опыт работы с фото. Спасибо большое!

For today I have prepared another note-book. It was made to enter Challenge No 14 Time for Tea here.

Сегодня я приготовила очередной блокнотик по заданию от блога Подари Кусочек Счастья Time for Tea.

I'd like to mention the fact that I am not a tea person. I only drink it instead of coffee, just to stay a bit healthier. However, now you will know that tea that I drink will never ever make your healthier. But it is soooo delicious!

Вообще, я не любительница чая. Я его пью ради того только, чтобы не пить ТАК МНОГО кофе! Но чай, который я себе делаю, я называю Вырви Глаз. И вот почему.

I take 1 pint mug, 1 tbsp of black leaf tea, 4 tbsp of sugar, juice on 1 whole lemon and some peppermint! It is strong, sweet and sour! Wakes you up straight away!

Рецепт чая Вырви Глаз: 0.5 литра кипятка, столовая ложка черного листового чая, 4 столовых ложки сахара, сок одного целого лимона, мята. Вуаля! Пробуждает мгновенно!!! Зимой желательно добавить 50 коньячку. 

Так я спратала рецепт.

The funniest thing that I didn't have a lemon stamp. So I simply cut it out of potato! Materials that I used: acrylic paint, black ink, watercolours, net.

Самое смешное - штампика с лимоном у меня не оказалось. Я вырезала его из картошки! Использовала - акриловые и акварельные краски, тушь, сетку от лимонов.

Dear all,

with no long introduction I'd like to present two cards today. Both were created for Just for Fun Challenge. This week's theme is a Square :) For me, who just hates any type of rules and restrictions, it  is a real challenge to create something that can fit into four straight lines with 90 degrees between them (if I said it right). Therefore it is even more interesting! However, it took a while - to think, rethink, make, remake, throw away and to start all over again :) Here's the result of my brain storming :)

Без длинных предисловий хочу показать сегодня две открыточки, которые сделала по заданию от Just for Fun Challenge. Тема- квадрат :) Я вообще плохо дружу со всякими правилами и ограничениями, поэтому мне было непросто придумать что-либо на эту тему. Ну квадрат, ну 4 прямых угла... Думала, красила, терла, переделывала. Вот результат :

Кроме штампиков - все мое. 

Сеточку делала так - гафро-картон, чернила, оттиск.

Everything, except stamped images, are made by me :) 

Background - corrugated cardboard, ink, stamp on prepared surface.

Again, white primer, acrylic paints, watercolour pencils. Cars are glossy - clear embossing powder on the top of black ink.

Почти то же самое - грунтовка, акриловая краска, акварельные карандаши. Машинки - лакированные :) прозрачная пудра для эмбоссинга.

One Sketch - four cards. 4 открытки по одному эскизу.

Hey there! Happy Monday to you!

Happened that I saw a very lovely sketch here. Although it was supposed to be a page, I decided that it's perfect for cards too. You know that feeling - you have sketch and you can't decide what to make, because you have more than one idea and you love all of them! So, I decided to make 4 different cards using one sketch. I have changed it though. Anyway, I have managed to make two cards today. Here we go!

Я нашла очень симпатичный эскиз здесь. И, хотя, он вообще-то для странички, я в него просто влюбилась. Никак не могла определиться какую открыточку состряпать. Поэтому решила сделать 4 по одному скетчу. Правда, я его изменила немного. И сегодня у меня получилось 2 открытки. Они совсем разные, но нравятся мне обе :)

This one is quite simple,  I did not want to overload it with details. I used colour scheme from Scrap Fantasy and want to enter their colour challenge.

Очень хотела сделать совсем простую открыточку. Немного поломала голову над цветовой палитрой, предложенной на Скрап Фантазии, уж очень непривычные для меня цвета. Отправляю ее на 3-е задание Марта, спасибо за головоломку :)

 The second card is absolutely different. I made this card thinking about my adorable friend AWWA, she is celebrating birthday this week. Congratulations, honey!

Вторая открыточка сосвем не похожа на 1-ю. Ее я сотворила для моей подружки Аллочки, которая празднует свой день варенья на этой неделе. Поздравляю!

I would love to enter following challenges with this card. 

Scrap Magia is hosting challenge Hand Made, you supposed to make something yourself. In my case it is handmade flower, background and some other embellishments. 

Эта открыточка, кроме того, что полетит к Аллочке, отпавляется по следующим заданиям.

Срап Магия объявила челендж "Своими Руками". Для него я сделала цветочек, рамку, фоновую бумагу и милые бумажки, свернутые в рулончик. Использовала при этом все, что было под рукой - краски, оберточную бумагу, старые бусы, ткань.

Jo at Daring Cardmakers announced challenge Going Postal. You may find "Post Card" stamp on my card and word "postage" on patterned tissue paper used for heart.

Daring Сardmakers объявили Почтовое Задание. На открытке есть почтовый штампик и слово "посылка" на папиросной бумаге, использованной для сердечка. 

Finally, another challenge at I Love Scrap  is about your own background paper, you are encouraged to use paper scraps, paints and stamps. Well, as I mentioned before, the background paper is totally mine :)

Наконец, блог Я Люблю Скрап объявил задание - красим, рвем, штампуем. Цель - сотворить свой собственный фон. Тут моя открытка совсем уж подходит. Чтобы сделать такой фон я использовала акриловые краски, рваную бумагу и штампик.

I have to admit, that these challenges are very interesting for me. They really wakes you up and inspire to create! Why not to join? Talk to you later, hope to finish other two cards. Take care!

Jeans and Lace. Джинсы и кружева.

Hi there!

How do you like jeans and lace combination? I think they go perfectly together. So do designers at Let's get shabby who launched monthly challenge 'DENIM and LACE'.

I found a bit tricky to work on this theme mainly because of endless  possibilities of combinations. Finally, I created this card. It took long three days to think about each of details. But now I am quite happy with the result.

Как вам нравится сочетание джинсовой ткани и кружев? Я думаю, что они прекрасно смотрятся вместе. Видимо также считают дизайнеры Let's get shabby, которые объявили это- Деним и Кружева - своим мартовским заданием. Было немного трудно творить на эту тему, из-за безграничных возможностей, которые предполагает такое соседство. Три дня я ломала голову над детальками, и вот что получилось.

It looks and it is very pale. Thew light blue colour of denim, that I had, has determined the whole colour scheme.

Открытка выглядит (да и есть на самом деле) очень бледненькой. Все объясняет цвет джинсовой материи, которая имелась в наличии. Все построено, отталкиваясь от этого нежно-голубого цвета.

I have hidden denim in a few places on purpose. Didn;t want the card to look too rough.
Я специально запрятала джинс в разных местечках. Не хотелось, чтобы открытка выглядела черезчур грубо.

And my favorite hanmade flowers - the dessert :)
На десерт мои собственноручно сшитые цветочки. Я их люблю :)

IWD - International Women's Day! Просто 8 Марта!

Hello Everybody!
A little bit of History if you do not mind:

International Women's Day (IWD), originally called International Working Women’s Day is marked on the 8th of March every year.  It is a major day of global celebration of women. In different regions the focus of the celebrations ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women to a celebration for women's economic, political and social achievements.
Started as a Socialist political event, the holiday blended in the culture of many countries, primarily Eastern Europe, Russia, and the former Soviet bloc. In many regions, the day lost its political flavour, and became simply an occasion for men to express their love for women in a way somewhat similar to a mixture of Mother's Day and St Valentine's Day. It might be too early to talk about this "International" Women's Day, but happened that today I sent the card to my Mom. Hopefully, she will get it on time and like it.

Я думаю нет нужды пояснять женщинам (и мужчинам) родившимся на территории постсоветского пространства, что такое 8 Марта. Нам просто нравится этот день! И хотя сегодня 23 Февраля (Дорогие наши защитники отечества - С Праздником! Ура!) и еще слишком рано вспоминать о Женском Дне, так сложилось, что я отправила вот такую открыточку своей маме. Надеюсь, она дойдет вовремя.

This Duck egg colour is one of her favorite. To make flowers and to cover music note sheet, I used scarf, especially bought for this card! Fly and leaves were earrnigs some day :)

Этот цвет ей очень нравится :) Ну, а чтобы сделать цветочки и закрыть ноты, я порезала шарфик, специально для этого приобретенный. Муха и листочки были когда-то сережками.

Also, I decided to take part in Cute Card Thursday Challenge with this card. The сhallenge was to create Happy Shiny Card. Well it is shiny! Look at the fly :)
